FieldBase is being developed to replace the paper field-visit sheet. It is for a complete site visit, not telemetry or logger vendor software and not Hydstra.
The planned core runs from preparing and verifying arrival through applicable work and observations, verifying departure, adding a closing narrative, and completing, processing, reviewing and archiving the visit. Site context, search, visit history and traceability for instrument identity, custody, placement, movement and reasoned amendments sit around that core. Wider instrumentation, maintenance queues, reports, ratings, surveys and library work follow only if the core proves the need.
